We perform our inspections with the Great Pride. You will get a home inspection from a husband & wife team with reputable training & experience (1000+ hours for current certification). Lou has more than 30 years of construction experience as a general contractor, over 14,000 hours of service as a Union Carpenter, and 7 years experience as a commercial construction supervisor. Irene has over 400 hours for her home inspector certification completed, and has passed all of her coursework in Exteriors, Roofing, Structure, Plumbing, Electrical, Heating/Cooling, Insulation, and Interiors. We offer a unique and thorough home inspection that we stand behind. Our company is fully insured, licensed by Consumer Protection BC (license #54604) and governed by the Standards of Practice under the Canadian Association of Home and Property Inspectors (CAHPI.BC). Our Family Home Inspections will perform a thorough and detailed visual inspection.

As home inspectors we are generalists. We will examine your new home much the way your family doctor gives you a check up. The doctor gives you a "general" exam. If any major problems are found, then your family doctor will explain the problems. He or she will refer you to a specialist if needed. We will examine your home thoroughly. If symptoms of major problems are found, we will explain our findings in terms that you can understand, and if needed we will recommend a specialist.

We do not look for minor problems. We look for things that will be a major cost for you in this home purchase journey. But, if we do see minor things we deem noteworthy, we will write these in your report. Our reports are computer generated with a checklist / narative style, with pictures pointing out the home's problems.

We do NOT make another appointment the same day as yours, so we are not in a RUSH to meet another client. We will take what time we need to inspect your home and explain our findings to you properly. We strive to provide a thorough family oriented inspection.
